It works in the field of child protection and child rights, it targets both sexes (male & female), who are at risk and vulnerable (street children, child labor, child soldier, war and conflict child, displaced, school dropout, orphans, and refugees).
It adopts partnership as a model and approach for projects implementation; it won united nation economic and social council (ECOSOC) advisory status since 2007.
We work through a package of partnerships with civil society and official, using a comprehensive community-based approach. It coordinates, and cooperates with all relevant stakeholders to achieve a positive progress in the issues of needy children.
It implements multi-modality interventions and provides direct service to the vulnerable children, and their communities as whole, in the field of socio-economic and health service, as well as raises awareness and development of the children, youth and women capacities.

Engineer Widad Yagoup founder of (CDF)
Working closely with communities and local organisations is the only way that we can reach children in extremely remote and sometimes dangerous environments. The work that we do is owned and embraced by communities, meaning that the improvements we bring to children’s lives last long after we are gone.
A word from the Director general
We are focusing on making a long-term impact by helping children living in poverty, wars, conflicts and disputes areas. We have a bold vision: graduating healthy, educated, empowered and employed children from our projects and programs so they can achieve the goal of breaking the cycle of poverty and reducing war, conflicts and disputes.
