CDF conducts a Training Workshop on Education for Out-of-School Children in Al-Gezira State.

Child Development Foundation (CDF) Sub-Office in Al-Gezira organized a training workshop for fifteen teachers on education for out-of-school children in Al-Gezira State as a part of reintegration of demobilized and vulnerable child project in the State, which funded by United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF)  in collaboration with Disarmament, Demobilization and Reintegration Commission (DDR).

The head of CDF Sub-office in Al-Gezira State, Hoyam Omar said the workshop aims to improve teacher’s skills to analysis of information and data on out-of-school children, and develop context-appropriate policies and realistic strategies for increasing enrolment and sustaining attendance rates in the state.

She confirmed the keenness of CDF to continue its efforts to implement all the project’s activities which dedicated to the process of reintegrating demobilized and vulnerable child in Al-Gezira State. She said that, they are currently establishing social workers office in the State court.

CDF Sub-office in Al-Gezira State conducted a filed visit to Child-friendly spaces in Al-Mansoura, Al-Rahmania areas in Al-Hasaissa Locality and Al-Thawra Mobi area in Great Madani Locality in order to follow up the current situations of demobilized and vulnerable children in the state.
