CDF participates in MENA Youth Capacity building in Humanitarian Action (MYCHA) in Qatar

Child development foundation (CDF) participated in Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Youth Capacity building in Humanitarian Action (MYCHA) at Hamad Bin Khalifa University - Student Center in Qatar Foundation, in Doha, which Reach Out of Asia (ROTA) and Qatar Foundation in the period of 11 to 14 November 2017.
CDF Sub-office in West Darfur, Programme Office, Mubarak Musa mentioned that MENA Youth Capacity building in Humanitarian Action (MCYHA) was a three days event dedicated to empower youth in humanitarian settings throughout the MENA region and to assure their meaningful participation in preparedness, response and conflict resolution in different situations and contexts.
He said the conference objectives were to increase capacity of youth to participate in humanitarian actions, to enhance more effective youth-led initiatives in humanitarian action at the regional level and to serve as a regional knowledge hub for networking among young humanitarian actors and professionals, designing innovative approaches, sharing data and best practices, and releasing publications.
