CDF facilitates a three days' workshop in Collobration with UNDP and UNICEF

 Child Development Foundation (CDF) Sub-office in South Darfur has facilitated a three days’ workshop in Mershig Locality, about the rights and protection of the child in collaboration with UNDP, UNICEF and Childhood welfare council in South Darfur. 

Child Development Foundation’s team explained during the workshop the responsibilities and measures to be taken by local community to make sure children’s rights are respected, protected and fulfilled. They said that Community Leaders must involve in assessing child social services, legal, health and educational systems, as well as levels of funding for these services. CDF encouraged Community Leaders to help families protect children’s rights and create an environment where they can grow and reach their potential.

CDF obliged to take all necessary steps to ensure that the minimum standards set by the Convention on the rights and protection of the child in South Darfur areas are being met.
