CDF General Assembly approves annual performance report for 2018

   Child Development Foundation’s General Assembly, in its periodic meeting has approved the administrative, financial and programmatic annual performance report and budget for the year 2018, presented by Child Development Foundation General Director, Dr. Omar Mukhtar Gindeel. CDF General Assembly which is the higher authority of the organization reelected Dr. Sharaf Eldin Banaga as CDF Chairperson.


   While reviewing the annual performance report, Gindeel confirmed that, the Foundation is doing well within its strategic plan, he motioned that the professionalism, and qualified staff generated an excellent outcome which satisfied the needs of target communities and met national and international donors standard. He said the foundation has extended its work in sector of child protection, food security, education, peace-building, and health, in addition to building indigenous communities’ capacity, and civil society organizations. Gindeel mentioned that 2018 programs and activities which implemented by CDF has targeted (45,056) family, estimated by (270,338) people among them (108,135) child, (67,585) youth and (40,551) women, with budget of “28,937,234” SUD. He pointed to the foundation’s geographical extension which included new offices in East and Central Darfur states. Gindeel attributed the qualitative and quantitative development in the CDF’s programs and activities, to the administrative and structural reforms pursued by the Foundation during the previous period.

General Assembly members unanimously praised the administrative, financial and programmatic performance during the year 2018; they confirmed their solidarity and readiness to address all administrative, financial and programmatic challenges which coming ahead.
