Child protection:
Every child deserves to be protected, with strong belief in this concept CDF delivers set of child protection activities under the objective of improved child protection and wellbeing, reintegration of child soldiers, follow up of formerly soldiers children, formation and training of community-based child protection structures, awareness raising and outreach, support to community led initiatives on child protection, monitoring, tracking and data collection on violation of child rights and provide direct protection assistance.

- Human Trafficking and Smuggling:
Carry-out community awareness for ending human trafficking and smuggling, coordination with police units and reception of human trafficking victims, provide psychosocial support, counseling, legal aid and health services to the identified victims, reintegration of children through provision of vocational training, life skills training, start-up tools and kits and build the capacity of police units in trafficking and smuggling.

- Psychosocial Support:
Multiplier train of trainers module, development and implementation of community action plans on psychosocial support, , provision of counseling services, referrals of severe cases to other specialized service providers, community-based psychosocial support hosted in newly established/rehabilitated community or women centers.

- Livelihoods:
- Objective: Improve the livelihoods opportunities to achieve self-reliance for the target communities.
Provision of sustainable and profitable means of livelihoods, training in entrepreneurship, small business management and financial management, provision of life skills, craft and vocational trainings, provision of start-up capital materials and equipment.

- Activities:
- Peace Building and Reconciliation.
Main objectives are:
- Improve the community dialogue and coexistence.
- Contribute to community reconciliation and stability
Training of Parents Support Groups and Youth Support Groups on peace building, conflict resolution, ongoing tracing and reunification, facilitation of community reconciliation, peace building dialogues and forums, consensus building on traditional justice systems, interactive games, sports among children, development and implementation of peace and action plans.

- Refugee Coordination: -
- Objective: enhance the refugees protection and resilience
CDF has supported the South Sudanese refugees in White Nile State and other refugees in West Darfur through different set of activities including: provision of vocational training and life skills, allocation of start-up capital and materials, formation and strengthening of community based structures and awareness raising in protection
- Advocacy:
Advocacy effort is a key milestone under CDF strategy. CDF carries out high level and extensive advocacy activities with key stakeholders involved in children issues and concerns to influence and reform national polices strategies, priorities, laws and regulations related to children.

- Emergency and Relief:
When crisis strikes, children are the most vulnerable CDF provides food aid, training in food security and agricultural rehabilitation to people affected by disasters.

- Health:
Objectives: contribute to reduce morbidity and mortality among vulnerable children
health and nutrition education, construction/ rehabilitation, provision of intergraded PHC services, training of health cadres, emergency health interventions to outbreaks (diarrhea response in White Nile) and nutrition services behaviour change communication (BCC), health awareness and sensitization, guidance and counseling, dissemination of information/education and communication materials, HIV/AIDS counseling and testing and community outreaches.

- Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH):
Objectives:
Activities: drilling and installation of water points, formation and training of water committees, community awareness in hygiene and sanitation, clean-up campaigns, distribution of dignity and sanitation kits and construction of sanitation facilities and services.
- Education:
- Objective: improve access to quality and safe basic education for children.
Every child deserves the chance to learn so education is a cross-cutting and integrated activity in all the programmes of CDF. CDF is supporting adolescents and vulnerable children by provision of education materials and supplies, construction/rehabilitation of classrooms, awareness raising and girl’s enrollment, teachers and training, accelerated learning programme and illiteracy classes for women and girls.
