Micro-Capital Grant agreement between UNDP and CDF

UNDP and CDF signed a three month micro-capital grant under the project of Joint Programme for the Rule of Law and Human Rights in Darfur.

 Programmes officer, Siddiq Munalseed said that, micro-capital grant programme targets community networks, by empowering and promoting the social cohesion for 50 women, 400 community members, and vulnerable groups and enabling them to practice their rights in Menwashe Locality, South Darfur State. He revealed that the total amount of funds under the agreement is 720,000 SDG.

UNDP provides micro-capital grants for both credit and non-credit purposes as inputs to its programme and project activities.  Micro-capital grants are provided to support the activities of non-governmental organizations (NGOs) and community-based organizations (CBOs).
