Gadarif Governor inspects CDF Comprehensive exhibition in Alhuri village.

Child Development Foundation (CDF) Sub-office in Gadarif State assured continuation of Promoting resilience project which funded by European Union EU, to improve and increase food security situation of vulnerable groups, focusing on Women and Youth in Gadarif and Al-Galabat Localities.
The head of CDF sub-office in Gadarif Awadallah Kingi said that the project which funded by the European Union aims to improve the livelihood of the targeted communities through package of activities including vocational training, village saving, loans associations and cash grants. He pointed out that the beneficiaries of the project are about 6000 household in Gadarif and Al-Galabat Localities. He said that Gadarif Governor "Wali" conducted a field visit to CDF Comprehensive exhibition in Alhuri village, where he expressed his gratitude for CDF works in Gadarif State. .
Kingi explained the project activities which include Vocational Training (VT), Village Saving, Loans Association (VSLA), Distribute Cash Grant (CG), and Women Farms, that aims to increase the self-reliance for 1200 women and young people, 300 groups, and 350 women-farmers in targeted community in Gadarif State.
