Construction of Formal Court, High Secondary School and Police Station, in West Darfur

CDF Programme Coordinator in West Darfur Sub-Office, Mubarak Musa Ahmed confirmed continuous Construction of High Secondary School and On-The-Job-Training for Youths in Mornei village in West Darfur State, funded by UNAMID.

He said the project seeks to provide the employability opportunities of the target youths to acquire source of income skills, in addition to, assist consolidation of peace by promoting peaceful coexistence and mutual trust among youths from diverse background to foster peaceful coexistence and social cohesion.

Construction of High Secondary School and On-The-Job-Training for Youths in Mornei project will enhance the rule of law in the area and decrease protection incidents, because cases and issues will no longer be transferred to the capital locality or ElGeniena, the existing of the court will help to solve the cases in Mornei, which contributes to achieving UN SDGs such as Justice& Equality, and improved infrastructure.
