CDF Organizes Workshop on Criminal Justice in AlGizera State

On 07 November 2019, CDF’s AlGizera Sub-office, in collaboration with UNICEF, organized a four-day workshop on child law 2010 and criminal justice in Madani, Al-Gizera State.

The workshop, conducted on the basis of Child Law between reality and application challenges, it aimed at equipping judges with knowledge and skills in handling criminal justice while operating within international child rights standards and improving the judicial system in Al-Gizera State.

Addressing the workshop, CDF’s Sub-office Manager in Al-Gizera State, Hoyyam Omer, reiterated CDF’s support to child rights and justice-related issues in AlGizera State.

On their parts, judges expressed their appreciation for CDF and UNICEF capacity- building programmes in the child rights and protection domains and they confirmed the importance of constant coordination between CDF and UNICEF and the judiciary in AlGizera State.
