Khartoum:\u00a0Child Development Foundation CDF participated in Reach Out to Asia \u201cROTA\u2019s 10th Annual Youth Conference\u201d on Personal Leadership, Service learning and Global Citizenship, which has conducted at Qatar, in Hamad Bin Khalifa University – Student Center Education City (TBC).<\/p>\n
CDF\u2019s representative\u00a0Mubarak Musa, form West Darfur Sub-office said that the conference created a platform for a larger number of students to learn and engage in ROTA\u2019s youth development program in Qatar. Mubarak explained that the conference addressed a variety of issues related Sustainable Development which focused on\u00a0Youth and\u00a0Effective\u00a0Citizenship.<\/p>\n
The program attracted up to 450 young people between the ages of 16-32 including international participants. The main aim of the 3 days conference was to raise awareness and knowledge as well as build the capacities required to enable young people to take leadership roles in addressing local and international developmental issues of concern to them especially in the area related to the theme of each year\u2019s conference.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
