CDF Signs Project Partnership Agreement with UNHCR

Child Development Foundation, CDF has signed a Project Partnership Agreement with United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, UNHCR Darfur Operation, in 17 May 2018, to provide community-based protection and assist Internally Displaced Persons in West Darfur State.

CDF General Director, Omer Gindeel Said the singed project agreement provides community-based protection and assistance to 13,302 returnees and IDPs communities in 19 return villages in West Darfur State, through constructing a police post, three schools and strengthening the local community mobilization by workshops, awareness sessions and youth empowerment. He added that the project also promoting peaceful coexistence of the returnees, IDPs and the host communities by enhancing conflict resolution and peacebuilding mechanism, open days and livelihoods support.

Child Development Foundation, CDF reiterated to honor its obligations towards child protection and accelerating the implementation of community-based protection and assistance project and supporting returnees and host communities with basic needs and essential services in the targeted areas in West Darfur.
