This project is proposing to response of CP and WASH interventions to the IDP population in Nyala State following and affected form conflicts between Rapid Support Forces (RSF) and Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) . This intervention will address and respond to the needs highlighted by the raped Assessment that was conducted by NNGOs’ Initiative for Humanitarian Action in South Darfur State, in the areas Nayala town,West Nyala , South Nyala,North Nyala and East Nyala.
CDF will be implementing interventions of CP and WASH in Nyala Town, South and North Nyala localities, for this interventions, CDF will build on their ongoing humanitarian response in South Darfur, in strong collaboration with the State Ministry of Health (SMoH), HAC and Ministry of Social Welfare has been able to initiate CP and WASH services at multiple gathering points within Nyala Town, South and North Nyala localities.

- CHILD PROTECTION SERVICES
– Service providers at the state and local levels in UNICEF-targeted areas have strengthened capacities and deliver quality specialized child-protection
– More communities have strengthened mechanisms to protect children from violence, abuse, and exploitation
- BASIC SANITATION AND HYGIENE
– Men, women boys and girls in targeted vulnerable communities access basic sanitation facilities and adopt adequate hygiene practices ”
- BASIC WATER SUPPLY
– Men, women boys and girls in targeted vulnerable communities have equitable and sustainable access to improved drinking water facilities
