Project to sustain health services and control outbreaks launches in Gezira State

We have launched the project “Sustaining Life-Saving Health Services and Disease Outbreak Control” in Gezira State, funded by the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF).

The project strengthens health centres, provides emergency medical care for families and children, and reinforces rapid response to stop the spread of disease in the communities most in need.

The launch meeting brought together CDF’s Director General and Gezira office manager, representatives of the Humanitarian Aid Commission and the State Ministry of Health, and local and international partners. Coordination meetings with the relevant authorities followed.
