20 child protection workers in West Darfur trained in case management

Trainees hold up their certificates after child protection case management training in El Geneina

Twenty social workers and case management officers in West Darfur State, 11 women and 9 men, have completed a five-day training on child protection case management and the Primero digital information management system.

The trainees represent CDF, World Relief, Triangle Génération Humanitaire (TGH), the State Council for Child Welfare and the Ministry of Social Affairs.

The training aligns technical standards across the organisations working in child protection and strengthens the field response so that children in the state are safe.

Our West Darfur office organised the training with World Relief and the Regional Darfur Case Management Task Force, with funding from the Sudan Humanitarian Fund (SHF) through the Child Protection Area of Responsibility. To learn more about our child protection work, visit our Programmes page.
